About Agentic Advertising News
Agentic Advertising News is an independent publication covering the rise of agentic advertising — a shift in how advertising markets operate as software agents begin to plan, negotiate, and execute media buying decisions.
The focus of the site is not day-to-day ad tech news, but the underlying infrastructure, protocols, and governance questions that emerge when decision-making moves from humans to machines.
What we cover
- Agentic buying and automated decision systems
- Advertising protocols such as the Ad Context Protocol (AdCP)
- Governance, suitability, and market structure in automated markets
- Measurement, accountability, and control in machine-driven buying
Why this site exists
As advertising becomes increasingly automated, many of the most important decisions — what is bought, from whom, under which constraints — are encoded in software rather than negotiated manually.
This publication exists to examine who defines those rules, how they are implemented, and what their downstream effects might be on publishers, advertisers, and the wider market.
Submissions and contributions
Guest contributions and industry perspectives may be supported in a future phase. For now, the site is intentionally lightweight and experimental, serving both as a publication and as a surface for testing agentic buying workflows.
